Special Events
* Kids In Action are on a Mission to help Haiti. Youth I
Sunday School Class is collecting as well. Please help
each child to pack a Ziploc bag with the following items and bring your
donation to Kids-In-Action as soon as possible. Allan Long, will deliver
these items to the Marion radio stations. Thank you in advance for
helping us help others. All items need to be brought in by
Wednesday, February 3rd. Just bring one item if the whole bag
is out of your budget right now.
Health
kits
1 hand towel 15 " x 25" - no kitchen towels
1 washcloth
1
large comb
1 nail file or fingernail clippers (no emery boards or
toenail clippers)
1 bath size bar of soap
1 toothbrush (in original
wrapper)
6 band-aids
1 small tube of toothpaste
All in a sealed
one-gallon plastic bag
All three local radio stations are
planning a Rolling Relief Remote on Feb 5 & 6 in Marion, where
you can drop off items, completed health kits, or cash. The Marion
VFW is partnering with other community volunteers to sort and pack the
bags the following week. 100% of the donations go to Haiti.
